Format
Intelligence
Six oat formats. One origin. Each engineered for a different manufacturing outcome. Select any format to review its processing logic, applications, and technical parameters.

Whole Oat Groats
The dehulled oat kernel in its least-processed state — every other format begins here. Available standard (active enzymes, maximum downstream flexibility) or KDHO: kiln-dried with lipase fully deactivated for export and long-chain supply.

Rolled Oats
Steam-conditioned and precision-rolled groats in six configurable thickness grades — Jumbo, Regular, Quick, Instant, Baby, and Oat Crush. The highest-volume oat format in global food manufacturing, ready for direct integration at destination.

Steel-Cut Oats
Groats cross-cut by hardened steel blades — no rolling, no steaming. Coarser, denser particle structure with the lowest glycaemic profile of any oat format. Four grades including traditional Scottish Oatmeal.

Oat Bran
The outer pericarp and aleurone layers concentrated in soluble and insoluble fibre. Holds EFSA- and FDA-approved cardiovascular health claims. Standard (≥ 5.5% β-glucan), High-Concentrate (≥ 7.0%), Fine, and Coarse particle grades available.

Oat Flour
Whole groats ground to ≤ 200μm exclusively from KDHO input — lipase deactivated before milling. Five grades: Whole Grain, Standard, Defatted (CO₂-extracted), Colloidal (beverage viscosity), and Low Viscosity (UHT stable).

Oat Fibre
Hull-derived at ≥ 85% total dietary fibre by dry weight — near-zero caloric contribution with high water-binding capacity. Four absorption grades: 200% Low Absorption, 300% Standard, Lightened, and Fine / Extra-Fine (< 100μm).
Application Intelligence
What Are You
Manufacturing?
Not every oat format suits every production line. Select your manufacturing application, and our decision engine will surface the recommended format, risk factors, and production considerations for your specific use case.
Select Application
Recommended Format
KDHO (Kiln Dried Hulled Oats)
Why This Works
Provides enzyme stability and consistent slurry behavior for hydrolysis and extraction. KDHO ensures lipase deactivation, preventing off-flavour development during the enzymatic breakdown stage — critical for shelf-stable oat milk with clean taste profiles.
Production Considerations
Alternative Option
Hulled oats — viable if enzymatic processing and lipase management is handled in-house with controlled stabilisation equipment.

South-East Australia
Our oats are sourced from the premium growing regions of south-east Australia — a zone defined by reliable rainfall, temperate climate patterns, and established agricultural infrastructure that produces some of the world's most consistent grain.
Consistent growing conditions translate directly into uniform grain characteristics — improving hulling efficiency, moisture stability, and downstream processing outcomes for industrial buyers.

From Paddock
to Container
Understanding how your oat ingredients are made is not optional — it's essential. Here is the complete processing chain, from raw grain intake to containerised export.
01
Sourcing & Selection
Harvest Season: Nov–JanOats are sourced from established growers across south-east Australia's premium growing zones. Incoming grain is assessed for moisture content, test weight, protein levels, and physical purity before acceptance.
02
Cleaning & Grading
Purity Target: ≥99.5%Multi-stage cleaning removes foreign material, undersized grains, and impurities. Optical sorting and gravity separation ensure only specification-grade oats proceed to processing.
03
Dehulling
Output: Hulled OatsThe outer hull is mechanically removed to produce hulled oat groats — the foundational format from which all other products derive. Hull removal is calibrated to minimize groat breakage.
04
Heat Treatment
Temperature: ControlledFor KDHO and rolled oat production, groats undergo controlled heat treatment. Kiln drying deactivates lipase enzymes for shelf stability. Steaming prepares groats for the rolling process.
05
Format Processing
6 Output FormatsDepending on the target product, treated groats are rolled to specified thickness, cut with steel blades, or milled to defined particle sizes. Each format has its own processing protocol.
06
Quality & Documentation
ISO-DocumentedEvery batch is tested against specification before release. Certificate of Analysis, phytosanitary documentation, and export compliance paperwork are prepared for each shipment.
07
Container Loading & Export
FCL / Bulk AvailableProduct is packed in food-grade packaging, loaded into containers at origin, and dispatched through Australian ports with full export documentation and logistics coordination.
